Batman Arkham series has some of the best combat ever designed, with insane depth, enemy variety and replayability (I could write pages on this topic). Genuinely, Arkham Asylum is the best one. It's the simplest, most pure form of the Arkham gameplay style. The story shines through more than the other games.
