If the machine starts spinning, then you will need to bend the button back into place. However, if the washer didn’t spin, you will want to replace the switch as this means the switch is faulty. I have a Kenmore Series 70 Heavy Duty Washer Model 110 20712 990, that will not advance to the drain/spin cycle for any setting on the washer dial. The washer fills with water and the wash cycle starts and when it finishes and is ready to advance to the drain and spin cycle the dial does not move and it just sits at that point. If your Kenmore 80 Series washer is not spinning, there are several common causes to consider. It could be due to a faulty lid switch, a material caught in the pump, or a faulty motor. Troubleshooting these issues can help resolve the problem and get your washer spinning again.Aug 19, 2019 · Rep: 683.8k MacHale Enterprises 3.2k 1.1k 2.6k Posted: Aug 19, 2019 Options Belt, Water Pump If the washer won't drain the pump belt might have broken or might have worn out.
