These terms “leveling kit and lift kit” are relative as they both can achieve similar ride heights. For 2″ heights 275/75r16 and 275/70r17 seem to clear with no major issues. Using stock backspacing, you can run both 275's and 285's with no lift and very minor to no rubbing. If you add wheel spacers, you are actually more likely to rub. Alignment is also important.
