Apr 6, 2011 · servicing a craftsman lt1000. Won't crank, no click. New battery, starter solenoid, no change. Test light shows power to solenoid from battery always, and from ign switch when in crank position, but no power from solenoid out to starter ever. Both solenoid small terminals light test light in crank mode. Loosen adjustment bolt in front of the right rear wheel, and lightly tighten. Start engine and move motion control lever until tractor does not move forward or backward. Hold motion control lever in that position and turn engine off.
