Jun 4, 2017 · Make sure it is not overfilled. This would indicate fuel leaking past the carburetor and into the cylinder while the tractor sits. Or may have a leaking head gasket. Not sure if there's any other check that can be done other than removing the cylinder head a looking at the gasket for dark burned areas on it. Fuel pump is ok. No fuel in the cylinders via test. Poured fuel in through the air cleaner and it starts & runs until the bowl is dry. I figured it is the carburetor needs cleaned or the fuel shut off valve is inop.
