Before you turn off the engine press the foot brake or parking brake, give it a least 30 seconds to reset and then start the engine again, see if the message go away. Its been a week now and message has not come back yet. Hope this solves your problem too. Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue. 1. Check the Battery on Your Keyfob. One of the most common reasons why the warning light comes on is because the battery in your key fob is running low. If you think this might be the case, try replacing the battery in your key fob.A solution said always make sure your car is in park before turning off. Hold the foot brake for 30 seconds before turning off the car. Then turn the car back on. That did not work at first so With the car off I held the start button for 30 seconds then I placed my foot on the regular brake and held for 30 seconds.It stopped after about a minute.
