But if you throw out the mess, the lights should go off. Before returning the drawer to its compartment, remember to place a new liner into the container. But bending in the tabs on the bonnet for a tighter fit helped for a while, which might be worth a try. Check and see if the weight in the rubber liner is properly seated, if it is you should be able to feel it if you press up into the center of the liner while it's upside down. It’s also extremely sensitive to the amount of litter in there. You can not over fill or else it will get stuck mid cycle because it thinks a cat is interrupting the cycle so it pauses.
