I've test driven an FRS and it felt nearly identical, if not just SLIGHTLY better in power, handling, noise, and comfort. Miata is slightly better in overall fun factor, plus the top down on a nice day can't be beat.To be a comparable improvement to power/weight ratio he would have to cut about 340lbs, if my math is right. Plenty of market in NA/NB/NC for FM as well, so they don't exactly have to chase after a ND2 turbo for more revenue. : (. If Keith & Team get an ND2 turbo I will fly out to Colorado and kiss that man. Not sure, I feel like I saw forums of Flyin' Miata ...After that check for parasitic draw. Get a multimeter, set it to read amps (this is easy to google) disconnect the negative terminal from the battery and connect the multimeter between the cable (cable goes to positive probe on the meter) and the battery terminal (terminal to negative probe on the meter). One thought that ultimately swayed my opinion was that the Miata being a two seater convertible was much different to my RS versus what a BRZ/FRS would be, so it would be a much different driving experience.RF has less wind noise compared to soft top. Targa is still fun because the top and back are exposed and its automatic. If your obsessed with having a complete top less experience get the soft top. If you want people to constantly complement you on how good your car look while you pump gas get the RF. 12.By the published numbers ( Miata, GR86 ), the ND2 is faster to 60 (5.7 vs 5.8) and the GR is faster in the 1/4 mile (14.4 at 95 vs 14.3 at 98). +3 mph difference in the 1/4 is still pretty big when you start looking at tracks like Road Atlanta, VIR full, …Has anyone with an ND2 successfully sold theirs in the used car market upswing? The Miata will be a lot better with a manual, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad car in automatic. When does the next year Miata normally come out? The driving position is similar but more comfortable for average and larger-sized drivers. It still corners like it's on rails, there's no body roll. The NC's engine sounds great and has a great powerband. The pedals are super responsive and accurate and the transmission shifts like a dream. The nb2 block has higher compression pistons, but the nb2 head has more room inside it so the compression is similar to the nb1. If you take an nb2 bottom end, or even just the pistons, and pair them with the nb1 head, you get a fairly high compression ratio and can make decent power.Compared to a Miata though, it’s a bit more complicated. The boxster general maintenance is easy enough, but some things are a little more complex. But that’s just the nature of a mid engine car. No TÜV, but are usually painted black. For coilovers, the TÜV aproved options are Tein, HSD, KW and Ohlins. Tein are rather entry level. HSD are decent, but I have a friend with a set of DualTech with standard spring rates and they are oversprung for 200tw tires. KW and Ohlins are top notch, in quality and price.479 likes, 6 comments - revlimiter January 14, 2023: "Reddit user avid_cyclist_0810 shared this on r/Miata. ND Miata’s shifter + clutch + engine response kills the Type R in comparison. But I will say that of all the cars I’ve driven, the Type R comes closest to the Miata’s standard. Also driven: Gen10 Si, Mk 7 GTI, Veloster N, Mustang GT.Sway bars are another massive upgrade if you wanna keep the current suspension on the car. Many people do coilovers and don't upgrade those, and their desired result from coilovers (flatter cornering) is actually achieved with the sway bars not the suspension (mostly) 2. This means that I'd like to send it to the shop for engine issues as little as possible. Of course, you need the yearly inspection, but I'd like for them to find as few issues with the engine and transmission as possible. Due to this, I was wondering whether I should get the automatic or manual Miata.A FMU also won't work overly well because the turbo will never make boost low enough to be in the safe side. 8-10psi will be about the lowest you get the turbo to go boost wise, even with a ton of porting of the wastegate. Pre 1991 Civics didn't have power steering, because they really didn't need it, which gives impeccable steering feel. The Yokohama S.Drives are solid performers and are great for daily driving as well. They also come in 205/50-15. Just got these put on yesterday and so far I love them. 205/50-15 as well. Same here!
